Stan, maybe a fight, maybe sickness, or even
old age. But the skeleton was preserved for
65 million years in sandstone until Stan
Sacrison found him close
to the city Buffalo in 1987.
than 70% of the bones were present. It was
a fantastic find, and is still rated as one
of the best T-rex skeletons in the world.
Our specimen is a museum cast with
the missing bones reconstructed.
